Mary is a qualified Chartered Accountant passionate about Startups .

Recognising that small businesses often struggle to receive the tailored attention they deserve from larger firms — and that access to a steady senior advisor (not a revolving door of juniors) is rare — she founded MBR AXIS to bridge the gap.

Her career spans 17 years, starting out at KPMG Melbourne and moving to a boutique consulting firm. The move offered the unique opportunity to be involved in all facets of business working with SMEs across a diverse range of industries including retail, hospitality, manufacturing, medical, biotechnology, architecture, law, construction, e-commerce and tech.

She now channels this expertise at MBR AXIS to directly add value and assist entrepreneurs and business owners. Combining strong commercial acumen with a genuine interest for understanding people and their goals.

She’s also an assessment and examination marker for Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ) and actively mentors and guides startups through her work with various Incubator & Accelerator Programs, sharing her insights with emerging entrepreneurs and contributing to the startup ecosystem.
