As a registered Tax Agent, MBR Axis Pty Ltd (Us or MBR) will perform Tax Agent Services in accordance with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA), which includes giving the client the following information:
Tax Agent Register
The Tax Practitioner’s Board (TPB) maintains a register of Tax Agents and BAS Agents. The register can be accessed and searched by following the link: https://www.tpb.gov.au/public-register
Rights, Responsibilities & Obligations
MBR’s rights, responsibilities and obligations as a Tax Agent, including its responsibilities and obligations to a client, and the Commissioner of Taxation, can be found in the TASA, including in the Code of Professional Conduct. A client’s obligations to Us as the Tax Agent include their obligation to keep records, and to provide complete and accurate records to MBR.
Complaint Process
If a client has a complaint about the Tax Agent Services provided by US, they can contact Mary Bahrami, Director. Mary Bahrami will work with the client to help resolve the complaint professionally, respectfully and as quickly as possible.
If the complaint cannot be resolved, or the client is not satisfied with how the complaint is being handled by Mary Bahrami or with the outcome, the client may make a complaint to the TPB. Complaints to the TPB must be made in writing using its online form, which is available at: https://myprofile.tpb.gov.au/complaints/
